the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky can meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, if necessary, reports TASS.
At the moment the negotiations about the meeting of heads of States is not conducted. However, the head office Zelensky Andrey Ermak did not rule out such a possibility, if it will bear fruit in the negotiations in the channel format.
Now between Putin and Zelensky have a work contact. The presidents of Russia and Ukraine regularly negotiate over the phone.
for the First time Zelensky and Putin held a telephone conversation on 11 July 2019. The first meeting of heads of state was held on 9 December at the summit, “Norman four” in Paris.
Earlier, the head of the “Servant of the people”, which put forward Zelensky as a presidential candidate during the last elections, said that Kiev can provide Crimea water in exchange for concessions in the negotiations on the Donbass.
Ukraine said that even in the case of the transfer of Crimea to Ukraine authorities will not be able to organize the work of public authorities.
