the Biopharmaceutical company “Generium” was the first national test for coronavirus infection.
It was developed by a group of companies “Medical-biological Union”, reports TASS statement of the representatives of the organization.
“This is the first domestic Express test, which allows using standard equipment, with an accuracy of more than 94% to determine the presence of coronavirus in about 40 minutes, including sample preparation”, – said the press service of the company.
the Peculiarity of this development is that the test is based on the principle of polymerase chain reaction with pre-preparation of samples sets for isolation of nucleic acids. So this quick test saves time on analysis of more than three times.
In the end the result of one sample could obtain in an hour.
Earlier it was reported that medical examinations in Russia was suspended due to the coronavirus.
