Musician Joel Brandenstein has recorded a new duet. The lucky guy was able to bring Vanessa Mai into the studio for his new single “Heaven is opening up”

“I agreed immediately”
“The song is about never giving up hope of eventually finding true love,” said the singer and musician from Ratingen about his new song. “Even if it takes a little longer for some people, it is all the more fulfilling when the moment finally comes. When I wrote the song it was clear to me that it would be perfect for a duet. Vanessa was the first to come to my mind as a duet partner. She was the first one I asked about it. And she was the only one, because luckily she said yes! ”
Vanessa Mai said about working with Joel: “I only do projects that I feel like doing. I loved the song and also Joel as an artist. When the request came, I didn’t have to think long and agreed immediately. The session together was a lot of fun and super funny. We are on the same wavelength and quickly had a good connection. ”
“Heaven Tears Up” is another single from Joel Brandenstein’s upcoming album “Frei”. That comes out on July 17th.
