Germany is starting to live again! The news just came in that one federal state had even decided to reopen ALL shops from Monday – regardless of size and field of activity!

It is a small bang and a sign that we are slowly changing back to a reasonably normal mode! In Thuringia, all shops, driving schools, cosmetics, nail and foot care salons will be allowed to reopen from Monday. The cabinet agreed on Thursday, as the Thuringian State Chancellery announced in Erfurt. As a result, the stores no longer have to limit their retail space to 800 square meters as before.

Playgrounds, furniture stores and cosmetic studios: In Thuringia, further anti-corona measures should be relaxed from Monday and all shops should be allowed to reopen. The cabinet agreed on Thursday after a phone call from the country heads to Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU). Ramelow made it clear that there are different risk assessments in the individual federal states. Thuringia itself is little affected and now wants to savor it.
