the US is ready to provide Belarus with energy resources in full. As reported TASS, this was stated by the Secretary of state of the country Mike Pompeo.
“Our energy producers are ready to provide you 100 percent at a competitive price,” said U.S. representative at the meeting with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Earlier it was reported that the Minsk talks on oil supplies with several potential partners. Among the possible suppliers was called the United States, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. According to Lukashenko, this measure is more expensive, but oil is better, than Russian.
At the beginning of the year, President of Belarus called the prices offered by Russia, to be excessive. According to the first Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Krutoy, Belarusian oil company, has been negotiating with the producers of raw materials.
