In the capital until April 6 extended the procedure for the treatment of patients with confirmed coronavirus at home, said Deputy mayor for social development Anastasia Rakova.

According to her, today in the town of about 550 people located on the home treatment.

the Deputy Mayor explained that the majority of patients diagnosed with coronavirus infection, carry the disease in a mild form.

“to Hospitalize such people does not make sense, so in Moscow was organized by the mode of treatment of such patients at home. The order has decided to extend until April 6. Currently about 550 people being treated at home,” said Rakova.

According to the algorithm, which launched March 23, the sick examined by a doctor, and then make a decision about admission or treatment at home. In this case, they sign a document in which you agree to use telemedicine information system for receiving medical consultations.

the head of the Department of information technology Eduard Lysenko said that the capital develop and test a mobile app for monitoring the location of patients with coronavirus.

According to him, in the near future, patients will sign an agreement on the mandatory installation of the mobile application “Social monitoring”. The document will stipulate that the application must be connected to the Internet and cellular networks, allowing to establish his whereabouts.
