She noted that the Director-General of the organization of Tedros Ghebreyesus shared the experience of different countries in terms of distribution COVID-19. In particular, he spoke about the measures that were undertaken in China, Singapore, South Korea and Japan.
Vujnović stressed the need to use such experience, which has proven successful in preventing the spread of coronavirus.
“each country has its own context, socio-economic, cultural… But the experience is very important, you need to use it, not to repeat the mistakes and to step forward. Use what has proven its effectiveness,” said Vujnović.
March 26, Melita noted that Russia does not need the introduction of strict quarantine on the territory of the country. She stressed the importance of discipline which can contribute to a less painful course of the pandemic in Russia.
However, on 30 March, the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin said that about 20% of Muscovites ignored the calls for a regime of isolation. In this regard, with March 30 in the capital, there are additional measures that prescribe to switch to home mode all Moscow residents regardless of age. Sobyanin also noted that the period of non-working weeks will dramatically strengthen measures for the isolation of citizens.
