Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin noted that the introduction of non-working weeks will dramatically strengthen measures for the isolation of citizens, reports TASS.
At the meeting of the Presidium of the coordination Council on combating the spread of novel coronavirus infection in the territory of the Russian Federation, he said that the flow of people using public transport is greatly reduced.
“the measures that have been taken at the Federal level, including the week off gave us the opportunity to radically strengthen measures isolation of citizens. We see in the subjects of the Russian Federation and in Moscow a significant reduction in the flow of people in the subway, public transport, suburban trains”, – said Sobyanin.
