Chief physician of the Moscow hospital for infectious diseases in Kommunarka Denis Protsenko declared his astonishment to the age of the patients who contracted coronavirus infection COVID-19. He reported about it on air of TV channel RT.
Protsenko said that we are talking about patients in whom the disease occurs in severe form.
“When we scored the first pool of patients and began to analyze, we have jaw dropped,” – said the expert.
He noted that most were surprised by the young age of infected citizens. According to him, all the more difficult have patients with chronic illnesses.
In recent days, Russia has been revealed 582 new cases of infection COVID-19. The total number of infected has increased to 4 thousand 731 people.
In Moscow during the day, has identified 434 cases of infection. The majority of people affected are aged 18 to 45 years. 14 infitsirovannykh children.
