Almost 90 of the amendments received to the presidential bill on amendments to the Constitution. About it reports Agency “Moscow” with reference to the head of the Duma Committee on state construction and legislation Pavel Krasheninnikov.
“For the moment, 89 of the amendments formally submitted to the Committee. Amendments in Chapter of the Constitution”, – said the Deputy. Yesterday it was reported about 65 amendments.
Earlier Vladimir Putin said that the proposed amendments to the Constitution are dictated by life. The head of state noted that the country is now in a huge debate, because, in his words, the more people will be involved in this process, the more popular will be the Constitution.
January 15, Vladimir Putin during his address to the Federal Assembly announced the amendment of the Constitution. In particular, it is suggested to establish the basic document the status of the State Council, as well as give the Duma the right to approve the candidate for Prime Minister.
Later there was created a working group to prepare amendments to the Constitution. Co-chair, was appointed the head of the constitutional Committee of the Federation Council Andrey Klishas. It includes only 75 people from different fields, including writer Zakhar Prilepin, athlete Yelena Isinbayeva, pianist Denis Matsuev and others.
In late January, the working group on the Constitution has allocated to the thematic subgroup, which included the units of “Social issues, science, culture, International law, Federal bodies of legislative and Executive power”, “Judicial power and the Prosecutor’s office” and “single public authority, local self-government”.
