Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the resignation of Vladislav Surkov, according to “Gazeta.ru”.
“Surkov was dismissed at his own request, but his experience and talent will certainly find its use”, – said Peskov.
Earlier, Surkov was dismissed from the post of assistant to the President of Russia. The official decree of the President published on the Kremlin website on February 18.
January 25, the resignation of Surkov said the Director of the Center for political conjuncture Alexei Chesnakov. He noted that his departure is associated with a “change of course in the Ukrainian direction”.
