In early March, musician Stefan Mross (44, “Grab”) wanted to give his fiancée Anna-Carina Woitschack (27) the yes word. Due to the corona pandemic, the moderator had to postpone the big day indefinitely. Mross spoke to the editorial network Germany (RND) about the reasons behind the decision.
“I think there are bigger problems in this world than postponing a wedding. Postponement is not canceled, ”said the 44-year-old in the interview. He and his Anna-Carina would “certainly find a time window to catch up on everything, it would be” just as nice, “he explained.
Mross further said: “I don’t necessarily want to speak to my relatives at my wedding over Skype or kiss my future wife with a face mask.” Fate simply decided “that it shouldn’t be”.
Anna-Carina Woitschack and Stefan Mross had already confirmed the postponement of their wedding for the “Bild” newspaper at the end of March. At the time, the “No Heart for a Night” singer said: “We wanted to keep it on a very small scale, only with Anna’s parents and my mom, all well over 70. But when it got worse with Corona, we had a hard-hearted wedding canceled a few days before the appointment. ”The risk that the couple’s parents could become infected was too great.
Woitschack had made an application to “Always Again Sundays” in front of cameras in the “Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights” last year. “Oh God, yes, yes, I want to,” the 27-year-old replied with tears of joy to an audience of millions.
