Beta version is available

Now the children's version of the music streaming service Spotify is finally available in Germany. The Swedish provider published the Spotify Kids offer in a beta version. In this independent app, users with a family subscription can provide their offspring with 30,000 titles and 170 playlists that have been specially selected for children. However, the parents still have full control over the content consumed, can track every track they hear and can also block individual songs.

The offer includes not only suitable songs such as those by artists such as Mark Forster (37) or Lena Meyer-Landrut (28), but also numerous radio plays such as “Benjamin Blümchen” or “The Three ???”. Parents can also make rough restrictions in advance and, for example, pre-filter the offer for children up to six years of age. A total of five children can use this service in parallel within a family subscription.
