Sergei Sobyanin congratulated the day of birth of the USSR honored coach Tatiana Tarasova. A congratulatory message published on the website of the mayor Instagram.
“happy birthday, our legend, a great coach Tatiana! You become a second mother to my Champions,” wrote the mayor.
He added that in many respects thanks to Tarasova, figure skating became not only sports, but also high art. The mayor wished the coach good health and positive emotions.
Tatiana Tarasova was born in 1947. In 1964 – 1966 skater successfully acted in tandem with Georgy Proskurin. Won the winter Universiade in 1966.
Coaching Tarasova started in 1967. She has trained Olympic Champions and more than 40 winners of the world Championships.
