Deputy of the state Duma Svetlana Zhurova in an interview with RT commented on the request by the world anti-doping Agency court of arbitration for Sport on public hearings on the dispute with the Russian anti-doping Agency.
In her opinion, this option would allow Russia to publicly argue in its favor.

this position is shared by the Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on physical culture, sports and youth Affairs Sergei Krivonosov. According to him, WADA was first accused RUSADA of violations, and then explained their essence. Krivonosov said that it violates the presumption of innocence.
“All the actions that we see, suggests that there is a political rationale that it is a form of pressure and form of warfare against us,” said Krivonosov.
