Current corona numbers from the weekend are there – unfortunately the R-value increases again. Do the other values remain stable?
The RKI reports the current corona numbers and the R-value increases again significantly and is now at 0.87! But, there is also positive news from the individual federal states! The federal states' corona balance sheets have improved dramatically in some cases. In eleven countries, the number of infected people decreased by up to 68 percent compared to the previous week (Brandenburg). The largest increases, however, were recorded in Saxony-Anhalt (+35 percent) and Saarland (+23 percent) (see chart above). What are the current numbers of new infections and deaths?
Active cases dropped to 6,100, 407 new infections were reported yesterday, and 400 people reported recovery. So far, 8,646 people who have been diagnosed with the virus have died in Germany, increasing the number of reported deaths by 33 compared to the previous day.
