“At all times, the volunteering, as we now call it, it is always welcomed. By and large, the medical students went into this profession to help other people,” said the rector.
He added that attracting students for medical aid should be only with their consent. Yanushevich explained that students in the third year students can be recruited as nursing staff, before the third year – how nurses.
Students have the right to help doctors in hospitals. At the same time helping all students must pass the appropriate instructions. Yanushevich stressed that the student volunteers will be awarded to the University.
Earlier, the Minister of health of Michael Murashko said that the Ministry intends to attract medical students for medical aid in the fight against coronavirus. He explained that the help to doctors will cause senior students enrolled in medical schools and institutions of secondary education link.
