Convicted on charges of war crimes, the Bosnian Serb General Ratko mladić underwent surgery in the Hague, said his son, Darko.
He noted that Mladic without warning was sent to the hospital block. He already had the surgery. The General has regained consciousness, said Darko.
Earlier, Mladic’s son reported the discovery of his father’s benign. Surgery need that it doesn’t become malignant. In 2017 Mladic was sentenced to life imprisonment. In 2018, his lawyers filed an appeal against the sentence to the Appeals chamber.
