Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of state Michael Pompeo discussed by telephone the situation with coronavirus COVID-19 and the results of the G20 summit. About it reports TASS.
“March 30, at American initiative was held a telephone conversation between Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of state Michael Pompeo. In the development of the telephone conversation between the presidents of Russia and the United States [of Vladimir Putin and Donald trump], held a few hours earlier, the foreign Ministers exchanged opinions on the situation in the world of the pandemic of the coronavirus,” said the Russian foreign Ministry.
the Sides also agreed to facilitate the implementation of ideas and specific decisions made at the G20 summit. Political conference for the first time in history took place in the format.
Russian President Vladimir Putin at the summit stated the need for joint action of countries to economic recovery. In particular, the Russian leader expressed support for restoring trust in the global market.
