Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the participation of veterans in events to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war in the Kremlin do not consider it appropriate, reports TASS.
“In any case, of course, since we are talking about the age group of risk, in regard to May 9, whatever the event, if they will, where feasible, the participation of veterans from the point of view of protection of their health”, – said Peskov.
He said that at the moment we study various scenarios of development of events in connection with the pandemic coronavirus. In this regard, according to Peskov, at the moment have not made any decisions about the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory.
“it is clear that there are different options, but while talking about them is premature, because no decision as of today has been taken,” – said Peskov.
He added that the format of the celebration will depend on the development of the epidemiological situation.
Earlier, Peskov commented on the new dates of the all-Russian voting on amendments to the Constitution. He said that the decision on this matter is currently pending.
