It was the first press release of the German organ transplantation Foundation (DSO), which contained the word “pleasing”: Twenty percent of the more organ donors there were in 2018. However, the most surprising growth, the DSO at 11.01.announced, is more of a stopped descent. Only 955 deceased donors have been taken in the past year, institutions – in more than 9000 patients waiting for a transplant*. In the model country of Spain is almost five times as many organs will be donated.
