on Friday Morning on the Indonesian island of Java erupted Merapi volcano. A column of ash rose to a height of 5 thousand meters.
the National authority for elimination of consequences of natural disasters of Indonesia notes that the volcano is located 30 km from city of Yogyakarta and while the threat he represents. However, the Agency has issued a ban on approaching the area of the volcano closer than 3 km.
Note that the small eruptions occur on mount Merapi up to two times per year. One time in seven years recorded major eruption.
