More than half of the penalties for administrative violations can be paid at a discount of 50%. This is available in the new Cao. This writes TASS, citing the press service of the Ministry of justice.

“the Draft Procedural code of the Russian Federation about administrative offences is proposed to extend the possibility of payment of the administrative penalty at half the rate for all of the administrative offence, except for gross administrative offences, as well as a separate administrative violations in road traffic”, – said the press service.
Specifies that the option of paying the fine at a discount will affect 60% of all compositions of administrative offences that will be provided in the draft Cao.
“Thus, a special procedure for payment of an administrative fine in the amount of half the amount of the imposed administrative penalty will apply to over 1000 of the designed compositions of administrative offenses”, – said the press service.
Now in the code 50% discount applies only to violations of the law in the field of traffic. According to the Ministry, the possibility of partial payment of a fine provided in only 7% of all of the offences.
on January 30, the Ministry of justice published a new draft of the administrative code. The document was published on the Federal portal of projects of normative legal acts. The new codes are planned to enter into force from 1 January 2024.
