Does love to know an age? In the new reality format “MOM – Milf or Missy?”, 16 singles get to the bottom of this question. The streaming service Joyn shows the ten episodes of its self-produced dating show from May 8, 2024, in double episodes. What is the concept and which candidates are involved?
“With ‘MOM’ we deliver a real surprise for the genre dating show and offer a new, exciting color on our platform”, Joyn managing director Katja Hofem announces the first self-produced reality show of the streaming portal. The dating experiment, which takes place under the Mexican sun, focuses on two single men of different ages. Both are looking for the right one. The two dream men want to get to know 14 single women, seven young “Missys” and seven “Milfs” in middle age – any age constellation is allowed.
The two men are Marko (28), a personal trainer from Munich, and Felix (57), an architect from Berlin. Marko, the junior, wants to “definitely get to know the woman of my life” in the format, as he reveals on the show’s Instagram page. He will meet the candidates in a tent camp on the beach. Felix, the senior, is a successful entrepreneur and can offer his partner every luxury. In Mexico, he will accordingly greet the ladies in a spacious villa. “A young man doesn’t have to show me how to do it,” is his declaration of war.
The single women are between the ages of 24 and 46. The “Milfs” are made up of flight attendant Natascha (44), master hairdresser Elke (40), administrative assistant Sabine (41), personal trainer and mother of two Franziska (39), flight attendant Mariam (37), artist Gabriela (46) and actress and waitress Anna (40 ) represented.
Among the “Missys” are computer science student Tam (26), dental assistant Maria (24), model Amy (27), dance trainer Mona (24), stewardess Despina (26), make-up artist Michelle (27) and moderator and model Lena ( 27). You are spoiled for choice and have to choose the successful businessman or the young fitness enthusiast.
