the Newspaper “Kommersant”, citing sources in the Russian government agencies announced that Belarus has sent Russia an official request asking to help the country combat the spread of coronavirus. In particular, Belarus and some other post-Soviet countries were asked to allocate protective masks, test kits and ventilators, the newspaper said.
When it was mentioned that Belarus has made much less measures to combat the spread of COVID-19, than many other countries schools are working normally, theatres, cinemas and restaurants remain open, and sports events are not cancelled.
