the Kremlin historians everywhere cultivated the legend of the origin of the Russian proletarian leader, in every possible way hiding the fact that his mother’s ancestors were Jews. According to documents stored in the Lenin library, his grandfather was a baptized Jew.
the Biographer of Lenin Yulian oksman found in the archives a petition for one of the Jewish communities in which it requests be exempt from taxes for a boy with the last name Blank. A historian found out that this man was the grandfather of Maria Ulyanova, natural born Israel Moyshevich Form. After his baptism, he became Alexander Dmitrievich Blank.
In 1932 Lenin’s sister Anna Elizarova informed Stalin about the Jewish roots of the leader of the first socialist state. She discovered this fact after studying the genealogy of his family. However, found her information was classified.
the Author of several books about Lenin Marietta Shahinian also found in the Leningrad archive of the documents confirming the Jewish origin of the leader. She appealed personally to L. I. Brezhnev with the request for permission to publish these data in the book “Four lessons from Lenin,” and received a categorical refusal. According to his theory, born of the Emperor the eldest son of Maria Ulyanova Alexander secretly hated his biological father, who did not recognize the genustion. In revenge, he made an unsuccessful attempt on Alexander III, for which he was executed in 1887. This version is totally baseless and disintegrates when comparing biographical dates.
the Mistress of the doctor
Another version of denouncing the moral character of Lenin’s mother, belongs to the historian Akim Arutyunov. He writes about his meeting in 1957, Leonid Evgrafovich, the Ulyanovsk-timers. He talked about the fact that Vladimir was born from a family doctor Ulyanov Ivan Pokrovsky. This sensational theory can attest the only document – the diploma of Vladimir Ulyanov, a graduate of St. Petersburg University. Original owner’s name was recorded as “Ivanov Vladimir Ulyanov”. Middle name then crossed out and corrected to “Eleny”.
