German airline Lufthansa and its subsidiary Swiss and Austrian Airlines suspend flights to and from China to 9 February, reports RIA Novosti.
Booking tickets to China suspended until the end of February. The flights to Hong Kong will be operated in the normal mode.
Earlier, the Russian airline Nordwind suspended Charter flights to China from St. Petersburg and Irkutsk. They were commissioned by the Chinese tour operators.
About the decision to suspend the flights also said the “Ural airlines”. The airline has informed passengers about the possible surrender of tickets without a fee.
Outbreak of pneumonia, a causative agent of which was a new type of coronavirus, began in the Chinese city of Wuhan at the end of December.
outside mainland China, cases of infection were recorded in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, USA, Canada, Vietnam, Singapore, Nepal, France, Australia, Malaysia and Germany.
According to the latest data, the total number of cases reached 5974 people, of whom 132 died.
