Early life

Johnny Depp was born in Owensboro, Kentucky in June 1963 and is actually called John Christopher. His father was an engineer, the mother a waitress. The latter adores Depp so much that he even has her name on her arm as a tattoo. He also has two sisters and a brother, all of whom are older than him. The family’s ancestors are Germans, Irish and Cherokee.

After many childhood moves, Depp’s family eventually settled in Florida. When he was a teenager, the parents divorced. This caused many problems for Johnny Depp. He became a criminal, injured himself, and took drugs. At fifteen, the boy finally dropped out of school and made his way to Hollywood, where he wanted to fulfill his dream.
