The popular Hamburg actor Jan Fedder (1955-2019) died in late December 2019 at the age of 64. The moving funeral and burial took place in mid-January. Now the tombstone is ready for its final resting place. The stone is adorned with a marble slab on which, in addition to the name of the “Metropolitan District” commissioner and his date of birth and death, there is also a romantic inscription in gold: “Love is immortal”.
His widow Marion Fedder (59) told the “Bild” newspaper : “Now everything is finally as it should be. I think Jan would like it. ”There are other symbols under the gold writing, a red heart, an anchor and a gate. “It stands for Jan’s love and attachment to Hamburg and its port,” said his widow. “Jan lives on in our hearts and we want to let him feel that.”
