The cooking show "Jamie Oliver: Keep Cooking and Carry On" celebrates its German premiere on June 18. The 20-part series is always shown on Thursdays from 8:15 p.m. in double episodes at the RTL Living payment station. The British celebrity chef presents simple recipes with few ingredients, gives tips and reveals tricks that make it easier to stay at home with culinary delights. With his salads, meat, fish and vegetarian dishes and desserts, he helps to bring variety to the table.
The cookery range was not only inspired by the coronavirus pandemic and its social consequences, the production itself was also affected. So the shooting had to be moved to Jamie Oliver's (44) private home. There he was supported by his wife (since 2000) Juliette "Jools" Norton (45) and their children; in some cases they even took over the filming with their cell phones.
It starts in episode one with Oliver's recipes for a vegetarian chili and pasta variations with three sauces. The second episode is about a hearty fish casserole, homemade bread and fresh salad dressings …
