First Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on education and science Oleg Smolin has suggested to cancel the unified state exam (use) this year.
With this initiative, he appealed to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a meeting of the Duma faction of the Communist party with the Prime Minister.
He noted that the state already delayed a little more than two weeks. However, given the pandemic coronavirus “the situation may not be completed by the beginning of may”.
“So we would ask you to consider it if it will have to do, and further, to consider the possibility of failure of the exam this year”, – quotes the words of Smolin “Interfax”.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of education Sergey Kravtsov reported about the postponement of the start of the main campaign of the unified state examination from may 25 to June 8.
