Paragraph on the protection of traditional forms of marriage may be made in the basic law of the Russian Federation. The initiative, according to news Agency “national news service”, was supported by the head of the Federation Council Committee on constitutional legislation and state construction, co-chair of the working group on preparation of proposals on amendments to the Constitution Andrey Klishas.
it is Reported that the proposed amendment will reinforce the concept of “family” rules that is the Union of man and woman.
the initiative was voiced by the head of the world Russian people’s Council Konstantin Malofeev.
Earlier, the Public chamber has proposed to enshrine in the Constitution the role of civil society, noting that for many Russian citizens who give public service most of his life, the affirmation of the principle of respect for such a public service is extremely important.
the State Duma in the first reading adopted the bill on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. In addition, it became known that the second reading of the bill can move to the end of February – beginning of March. Previously announced date was February 11.
the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has previously stated that it will follow the process of amending the Constitution. The Federation Council was advised PACE not to meddle in their business, adding that the Assembly will not be able to influence amendments to the main law of Russia.
