In Pskov died a patient who was diagnosed with coronavirus. On that Sunday reported the chief doctor of the city hospital Alexei Vasiliev.
As reported in the Pskov news Agency, the man with pneumonia was not bedridden patients, the disease had proceeded almost asymptomatic, but then came the deterioration. Prescribed therapy did not help.
“the deceased with severe concomitant pathology in the lungs,” – said the doctor.
This is the first fatal case of coronavirus infection in the region. According to the information of the operational headquarters in the area confirmed six cases of the disease. Awaiting the results of the analyses more than 400 people in the region.
Earlier on Sunday it was reported that the death toll from the coronavirus in Russia has reached eight: six cases in Moscow, one in Orenburg and St. Petersburg.
