Under strict hygiene requirements
It has been shooting again for a week. The Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR) announced on Tuesday (May 12th) that the production of the series “In All Friendship” and “In All Friendship – The Young Doctors” started again on May 5. Because of the corona crisis, however, strict hygiene and safety rules are adhered to.
The filming was done “in close coordination with the respective authorities at the filming locations in Leipzig and Erfurt”, says the current press release. In addition, it goes without saying that the respective general dispositions of the federal states are adhered to. An external specialist had designed a “well-founded occupational safety and hygiene package tailored to these specifications”.
There are three main rules that apply: mask requirement, minimum distance and hand hygiene. Behind the camera there is also an obligation to wear mouth and nose protection. Among other things, there was a corresponding briefing of the teams, work equipment was personalized and additional staff was hired – we are talking about safety and disinfection specialists. Makeup artists also put on suitable protective equipment.
“The top priority for us is the health and the highest possible level of safety for our employees,” explains Sven Sund, managing director of the production company Saxonia Media. The security concept is also to be adapted to current knowledge in the future. For the time being, scenes in which the actors would get very physically close will be avoided. According to the MDR television film boss, Jana Brandt, the affected scenes were reconsidered and the scripts were also adapted.
Actor Philipp Danne (35) is happy about the resumption of filming: “I was happy to start shooting again. It is all different than before due to the safety precautions and the diligence with which everyone adheres to the rules. Fortunately, the fun at work is not lost. ”
Almost incidentally, the state broadcaster announces that there will be three more seasons (24 to 26) of “In all friendship”. 126 new episodes are to be shot in autumn 2024 and broadcast from January 2024. “In all friendship” always runs on Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m. in the first, “In all friendship – The young doctors” can be seen every Thursday at 6:50 p.m. in the first.
