The rescue workers will probably remember this terrible accident for a long time. In Remseck am Neckar (Baden-Württemberg) a luxury car of the Lotus brand had strayed from the street and overturned. The 41-year-old driver of the car was killed. The 18-year-old passenger had to be hospitalized with serious injuries.
According to the police department investigating the case, the lotus was on the 1666 district road. For reasons not yet known, the driver of the car had apparently oversteered in a left turn and then lost control of the car. When colliding with the curb of the oncoming lane, the car overturned and came to a standstill a few meters further on the roof. Eyewitnesses to the accident immediately informed the police and fire departments. When arriving at the scene of the accident, however, the rescue workers could only determine the death of the 41-year-old driver. The passenger, on the other hand, had to be freed from the wreck and was taken to a hospital. During the rescue work, the 1666 district road had to be closed for several hours. Now the background of the accident should be determined by the police. Results are expected in the next few days.
