The guys from Guns n ‘Roses actually wanted to go on a European tour from the end of May. However, due to the corona virus, the planned performances had to be canceled.
Slash, Axl Rose, Duff McKagan, Richard Fortus, Dizzy Reed and drummer Frank Ferrer recently spoke on Twitter to keep their fans up to date.
When will the new album come out?
“GNR family: Unfortunately, the upcoming European tour will not take place. Things change every day and we want nothing to happen to our fans, our crew and the band. Together with our promoters, cities and countries, we are working hard on how to proceed. We will make further announcements as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your patience. Even when their new record will be released, the rockers do not yet know, as they reported in an interview with “Guitar.com” earlier this year: “There is no definitive answer to this … things are going on, but nothing specific … There is material and there are recordings, but we’re not really sure what we’re going to do with them. There are a handful of people who think, ‘Make an album and be old-fashioned.’ And then there are a handful of people who say, ‘We don’t even know what it means to buy an album.’ ”(Bang)
