Representatives of independent service stations (STO) say about the threat of mass bankruptcies in the sphere of technical repair of vehicles, informs “the Newspaper.ru”.
In an open letter to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin traders warned that the termination of their activities due to adherence to self-isolation will lead to the bankruptcy of many companies. In particular, over the past week, turnover in industry decreased by 60%.
According to experts, the demand for the services of service stations in Russia will not recover to previous levels. “We predict that over 80% of independent service stations may not open after the crisis”, – said the co-founder of the network of service “Camry” bar Tursunov.
Avtoekspert Igor Morzharetto has previously evaluated the impact of the economic crisis and of the coronavirus in the automotive market.
He noted that the extent of losses yet to evaluate early, as in March, the demand for the machine was still observed, and a noticeable drop in sales will only begin in April. Morzharetto it added that, as in any other business, many companies can survive the impending crisis and after recovery in some regions, some companies will disappear.
According to him, the least of losses will suffer in this environment with the business company for the sale of used cars. Most of all, the economic crisis will be felt, he said, selling new cars and motobrendy dealerships.
