Devastating accident! A man died in a serious crash between a truck and a car – the highway had to be fully blocked!
Fatal collision in the night of Friday on the A7 near Heidenheim: In the direction of Würzburg, the driver of a Mercedes C-Class apparently overlooked the trailer of a swap body train from a parcel company. The car crashed onto the empty trailer at high speed and then came to a stop on the green area. The trailer and the car were massively deformed in the collision.
Fortunately, the message that the truck was burning turned out to be wrong. However, any help came too late for the 28-year-old driver of the car. He died in the wreckage of his vehicle. The A7 was closed until the morning at the scene of the accident.
