the Poetess Elena Katsyuba died Friday, February 15 at the age of 74 years, writes “the Literary newspaper”. The cause of death is not known.
Katsyuba was a member of the writers ‘ Union of Moscow, member of the PEN club, one of the founders of the literary group of does headed husband poet Konstantin Cedar.
She graduated from the journalism Department of Kazan University. At the initiative Yunna Moritz, Andrei Voznesensky, and Genrikh Sapgir was admitted to the Union of writers.
From 1998 to 2003 Katsyuba was a TV columnist in the newspaper “Novye Izvestia”, and then worked in the newspaper “Russian courier”.
