It was around seven years ago that the first season of “Beauty & The Nerd” was on German TV. Now the reality show gets more episodes. ProSieben will broadcast the second season from June 4th, every Thursday at 8:15 p.m. The broadcaster has now announced this.
According to a press release, seven male “single outsiders” should also meet seven “single beauties” in a villa in Ibiza – where they become couples. In a total of six episodes, the participants should find each other and outmatch the other teams with a makeover. There is a prize money of 50,000 euros. At the end of each episode, a couple must leave the villa.
According to the station, the seven male nerds between the ages of 21 and 32 include a comic lover, a Superman fan, a computer geek, a PC gambler, a “magic” card collector, and another video game fan and a computer science nerd.
But apparently it shouldn’t stop there. “The first nerds we communicate for ‘Beauty & The Nerd’ are men,” explains ProSieben when asked by the media magazine “dwdl.de”. “In the course of the season, the audience will also encounter one or the other female nerd.”
