In times of Corona, a lot of stars want to use their celebrity for a good cause. So does Avril Lavigne.
The 35-year-old singer has again recorded her track “Warrior” from 2019 as a charity single. The proceeds will go to the fight against Corona. In the new version, the song is called “We Are Warriors” and is a tribute and thank you to all the warriors of these difficult days, Avril reveals in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight”.

The proceeds from the sale of the single will go to “Project Hope”, which supports medical staff worldwide. With this, Lavigne wants to do its part to get the current rampant corona pandemic under control.
