Heroes 07/03/20 Arkadiy Kamanin: how to fight the young pilot of the great Patriotic
History knows many young heroes who took part in the great Patriotic war. One of these was Arkady Kamanin, who began his service in the red Army at the age of 14 years.
Arkady was Born 2 November 1928 in the far East. His father was a famous military pilot, Colonel General of aviation and one of the first to receive the title hero of the Soviet Union.Family military leave the Union. To rescue the young pilot rushed to his elders, however, Arkady managed by some dashing turns and evades the attack.
Another case brought the young pilot of the order of the red Star. Returning to the squadron from deployment, 15-year-old Arkady noticed in enemy territory steaming Soviet attack aircraft Il-2. The car was hit, the pilot was unable to reach the airfield, but, miraculously, put the damaged car in the field. After landing near the damaged aircraft, Kamanin pulled from the cockpit of the heavily wounded pilot, documents and photo equipment, seated pilot on the navigation and managed to get in the air before the arrival of the Germans, and then returned safely to his part.
a Year later, in the battles in the 2nd Ukrainian front, Arkady saved the front headquarters, single-handedly repulsed the attack of the forces of the Ukrainian insurgent army*. Under enemy fire Letenek on his U-2 took to the air and directly from the cockpit pelted the enemies with grenades, then radioed for backup.

Through the fog
In early 1945 Arkady was ordered to deliver a partisan unit that operated deep in the rear, the package of documents and batteries for the radio, which was partisan only means of communication with the mainland.

After the war

Alas, just two years after the great Patriotic war Arkady Kamanin died at the age of 18 years. Latonka battled meningitis.
