Who speaks today about the Left, speaks about their crisis. And who speaks about these crises, to two terms: identity and class. Like two poles, they are in the debates. Between them is the field on which the decline of the Left is measured is also of their own supporters. The Left, you can read frequently, have betrayed “the working class” by moving from one to the other Pole. It is hardly Substantive, to the “objective contradictions”, the conflict between capital and labor, but primarily to the recognition of oppressed minorities whose emancipation and protection of their rights.
