The Robert Koch Institute's daily report on corona development is here and it is surprising, two trends dominate – but they are in opposite directions!
The RKI reports current corona numbers and these are slightly contradictory. There are currently 174,533 people with Corona in Germany, 583 more than yesterday, but – overall, the number of new infections continues to fall! The R-value, on the other hand, rises again – it is now 0.88 and increases by 0.13 the previous day! How do deaths develop towards these two values?
A total of 174,533 people have contracted Corona, but the number of cured patients exceeds the number of new infections many times over – 153,400 have already recovered! Unfortunately, 7900 people have now died of the Corona virus, which is about 50 new deaths yesterday.
