Early life
Sidney Hoffmann was born in Dortmund and grew up there. After primary school, he attended high school in his home town of Dortmund and graduated from high school. Already at the age of 16, he recognized his interest in everything technical, and was especially drawn to motorcycles. So Sidney Hoffmann gained his first experience with tuning with his new Suzuki Gamma motorcycle. Because he was very talented in this area, he also started to work on his friends’ vehicles. Career
In 2007 Sidney Hoffmann founded the company Five Star Performance GmbH in his hometown Dortmund in collaboration with his partner Jean Pierre Kraemer. From 2009, Sidney Hoffmann and his partner were given their own documentary soap by the pilot DSF, which was broadcast by Focus TV, which they called Die PS-Profis – Mehr Power aus den Pott. The locations for the broadcasts were various business and workshop rooms of the joint workshop in Dortmund. In addition to the show Die PS-Profis, Sidney Hoffmann moderated the show Turbo – Das Automagazin with his partner Kraemer and also with Tim Schrick. In 2012 Sidney Hoffmann left the show Die PS-Profis for a short time to open his own workshop in Dortmund. Since then, Sidney Hoffmann has been the managing director of his Sidney Industries auto-tuning workshop, which was founded in Dortmund in 2012. Sidney Hoffmann has been moderating the magazine Mein neue Auto on Kabel Eins since September 2012.
