History 21/03/20 Bronislav Kaminski: what became the worst traitor of the great Patriotic
On sided with the Nazis by the Soviet General Andrei Vlasov and his Russian liberation army is known to almost everyone. However, Vlasov was not the only major figure in the chronicle of treachery to the Motherland in the Great Patriotic war. More brutal and cold-blooded traitor was Bronislav Kaminski – brigadeführer of the SS, the leader of the Russian liberation people’s army, it – 29 Grenadier (First Russian) division of the SS.

Bronislaw Kaminski was born in Vitebsk. At the time of the great October revolution he was a student of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Fascinated by revolutionary ideas, he dropped out and not only volunteered in the red army (the workers ‘and peasants’ Red Army), and became a member of the CPSU(b). Returning to civilian life, Kaminsky was a chemical engineer, worked at the plant, participated in socialist competition. However, this did not prevent him in the free time to make moonshine. Father Kaminski was Polish, so the President passionately defended the idea of including Poland into the USSR as a special autonomy.
Kaminsky did not escape the wave of repression. In 1935 he was expelled from the party, and in 1937 he falls into the camp, where he works as a technologist in the production of alcohol. In the quest to ease their plight Bronislav Kaminski becoming an informant-an informant of the NKVD. This allows him to be released in early 1941. Before the war, and the arrival of the Germans he works in the village of Elbow (today’s Bryansk oblast, then the center Brasovsky district in the Orel region) for the distillery.

Kaminski receives power

Lokotskogo autonomy throughout followed the example of the Nazi state. Special instruction forbid marriage of Jews with representatives of other Nations. The newspaper “Voice of people” has published anti-Semitic articles. Autonomy adopted in the Labor code included an article with the characteristic title “Jewish labor.”
In 1943 the Kaminski along with created the Russian liberation people’s army (RONA) peredoziruet in the town of Lepel. The newspaper “New way” (Vitebsk) described the policy of Kaminski: “When assigning a worker to a position are only taken into account his business acumen. As for the party, social, ethnic (Jewm has no place) the provisions, it does not play a role.”
Words do not disperse from business. In some villages and towns Lokotskogo autonomy was organized by the Jewish ghetto. Power in the face of Kaminsky decided: everyone who is harboring Communists and Jews, to be shot.
In September 1942, Lokot autonomy, the police shot all those living in the village of Navlya Jews, thus avenging the explosion the guerrillas of the bridge across the river. Executions continued in Suzemskogo and Sescom areas. Only one district was brutally killed 223 people – simply because they are Jews.

the Nazi command did not leave the “independent autonomy” Kaminsky unattended. Elbow served as the base headquarters when the Nazis and the point of deployment of the Sonderkommando SD. The first anti-fascist brigade (the commander of Gil-Rodionov) lost in battles with camincam 1026 people.

Historian of the UK Colin Heaton wrote: “Team Kaminsky has created many atrocities, well fighting on the side of the Germans.” On 1 August 1944, RONA was reorganized as the 29th Grenadier division of the SS. Kaminski received the rank of Waffen–brigadeführer (major General) of the Waffen SS.
the Warsaw uprising and ignominious death
by Participating in the suppression of the Warsaw uprising (August 1944), thugs Kaminski, without looking, shot all who presented itself to them under a hand.
